I have have come across an incredible resource that I think you will all be interested in.
The University of Maryland Medical Centre has put together a Complementary and Alternative Medicine Encylopedia.
Sort by Condition
You can search an alphabetical list of conditions and quickly discover the signs and symptoms, what causes it and possible treatment options. Best of all, the treatment advice includes but Complementary and Alternative Therapy Treatments, exercise and nutrition advice and more. All the info is backed up by supporting research and special consideration warnings are given where applicable.
Sort by herb, supplement or drug name or treatment modality
You can also look up herbs, supplements and drugs to learn what they are made of, what it can do, how to take or use it, and of course any precautions to be aware of. There’s als an alphabetical list of natural therapy treatments where you can learn more about how each of them work.
